Terms of service
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms cover your use of juggernog.lol and OpenParty (together, the “Service”), run by Juggernog (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
The Service
OpenParty is a set of party games played in a web browser: one screen (the “TV”) shows the game, and players use their phones as controllers. Players can join a party for free. Hosting a party requires a Party Pass or an OpenParty+ plan, except for the free demo.
Accounts
Hosts sign in with an email address. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (and at least 18 to buy a plan or turn on 18+ content). You can sign devices out and delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Purchases, renewals and cancellation
- Party Pass is a one-time purchase that gives 24 hours of hosting, starting when you open your first party lobby after buying it.
- OpenParty+ is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance. It renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. For website purchases, you can cancel from your account page. For Amazon purchases, use Memberships & Subscriptions in the Amazon account that made the purchase; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Website payments are processed by Stripe, with prices shown in US dollars. Purchases in the Amazon Appstore edition are processed by Amazon, which shows the applicable currency, price and taxes before confirmation. Amazon purchases are subject to Amazon’s applicable purchase and refund terms.
- We may change prices for future billing periods; we’ll tell subscribers by email before a change applies to them.
- Refunds: if something went wrong, contact us within 14 days of a purchase and we’ll make it right, which may include a refund. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.
Your parties and your content
Some games let players write answers, titles and drawings. That content belongs to whoever made it; it is shown to the people in that party and the game state is removed when the party closes. Announcer recordings may retain spoken names and answers for the period described in our privacy policy. Please don’t use the Service to post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and don’t use player names to impersonate or target others. Hosts are responsible for who they invite and for whether the optional 18+ content is appropriate for their group.
Fair use
Plans are for hosting your own parties. Don’t resell access, share your account publicly, attempt to break or overload the Service, scrape it, or get around its limits. The AI announcer has a generous daily allowance; beyond it, the TV falls back to the browser’s voice.
Our content
The games, questions, prompts, artwork, music and software are owned by us or our licensors (some trivia pictures and music are used under Creative Commons licences, credited on the image credits page). You may use them to play OpenParty, not to copy or redistribute them.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Service running, but it’s provided “as is” and we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue OpenParty+, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending things
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (like ownership and liability) will.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let account holders know by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
